Post-Root Canal Recovery Instructions from Dr. Patel

Hey, Dr. Patel here, and it was great seeing you today. I’m checking in because we want to make sure you have a healthy recovery from your root canal.

Be sure to take your medications as prescribed in order to alleviate any pain. You may also experience numbness for several hours, so avoid chewing until it wears off.

It’s common for small portions of your temporary filling to wear away or break off. That’s normal, and there’s no need to worry. However, if a temporary crown comes completely off, please give us a call.
